We are looking for an energetic powersports enthusiast with a knowledgeable background ready to join the Cycle Center of Denton Team as a Service Writer! Cycle Center is one of the largest, family-owned, motorcycle and side x side dealers in Texas. With a year round riding season and the perfect location between urban streets and country fields, we stay busy non-stop!

This is NOT an entry level position, previous experience in the motorcycle and side x side industry is required. The ideal candidate will have experience selling parts and/or service in the powersports market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately create electronic repair orders for technicians and look up required parts utilizing multiple electronic parts catalogs
  • Perform vehicle walk around and document customer concerns and symptoms
  • Communicate with OEM manufacturers for warranty request and information
  • Maintain daily phone contact with all customer with open repair orders
  • Sell service estimates and recommendation to customers
  • Cashier and invoice repair orders
  • Check in customers for service

Qualifications

  • Must be knowledgeable of technical aspects to properly explain repairs to customer and manufacturers
  • Must have valid motorcycle license and ability to operate multiple makes and models
  • Must be able to pass background check and be registered as State Safety Inspector
  • Deadline and detail-oriented with ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Previous experience in the powersport industry is required
  • Computer proficiency with office suite and email required
  • Must be 18+ with a clean driving record

Compensation is a daily base and performance-based commission
